Certification Capstone
This course is the fifth and final course in the Youth Instructor Certification Program.
We’ve designed the entire Yoga Calm Certification Program to prepare you for an uplifting professional growth experience – and success in bringing Yoga Calm into your classroom, therapy work, yoga studio or wherever you work with children. Thus, this Capstone course isn’t just an opportunity to further hone your new skills. It’s also a time to celebrate all you have learned!
This course also features individualized feedback from Yoga Calm trainers, and a special session from the program founders on how to develop your business and promote your Yoga Calm classes for children. You will also receive access to Yoga Calm’s online membership program, including hundreds of class plans, training videos, clothing discounts and your business starter kit.
Online Capstone
This online Certification Capstone Course is designed for certification candidates anywhere in the world to complete their Yoga Calm Youth Instructor Certification. Combined with the Wellness 1-3 course series and the Practicum course, this option provides the opportunity to become certified completely online.
The Capstone continues the personalized coaching from the Practicum course along with a library of demonstration videos from other certified instructors and our courses to inspire your development.
Prerequisites
Before starting the Capstone, student's will need to have completed the following four courses:
- Introduction to Yoga Calm (Wellness 1)
- Physical Connections to Learning (Wellness 2)
- Social/Emotional Connections to Learning (Wellness 3)
- Practicum
Get Professional Development Credit!
A certificate of completion, showing 12 instructional hours, is provided and accepted for continuing education by many professional licensing boards.
This course also qualifies for one University of the Pacific/Benerd College graduate-level, semester credit, 12 Clock Hours from Washington School Counseling Association and CEUs.
