This 5-day workshop introduces the principles of Yoga Calm and all 60 activities in its curriculum including breathing exercises, simple yoga poses, social/emotional skill development activities, relaxation/storytelling processes and emotional guidance techniques.
Overall, you will learn how to teach Yoga Calm’s curriculum of 60 wellness activities and processes, which are effective for a wide range of ages (K-12), settings, and populations, including special-needs children. The workshop also provides a supportive environment in which to observe, practice-teach and develop new skills.
Held at the beautiful Still Meadow retreat center in Carver, Oregon (30 minutes SE from Portland International Airport), there will also be ample time for collegial sharing and dialogue, walking in parks, resting in gardens and renewing your spirit. Still Meadow is beautifully situated on 60 acres of woods, grape orchards and walking trails, close to the Clackamas River and Mt. Hood. They also have great food and a sauna for relaxation after yoga! For those coming from out-of-town, this location offers overnight accommodations (double occupancy) and three delicious meals per day.

Five-day Intensives qualify for 30 Washington Clock Hours and/or 3 PSU Graduate Credits available. Certificate of training hours provided for all workshops (see accreditations).
