Inspiring Environmental Stewardship

Learn how how to lead summer camps and school-based activities (K-8) that creatively integrate environmental education, physical yoga, social/emotional learning, music and art. These fun and engaging activities support the whole child, provide a springboard for science education and inspire stewardship for our natural world.

Through exploring techniques of physical yoga, observation, self-reflection, social/emotional skills development, storytelling and simple home and schoolyard inquiries, teachers, counselors and environmental educators will learn how to cultivate children’s innate curiosity and appreciation of the natural world around them.

“Our boys attended several summer camps last year and this one was by far their favorite. The learned important skills and had a great time!”  Linda Provost, OTR”

This course will also examine how our personal wellness is inextricably linked to the health of our environment.
