University of the Pacific Graduate-Level Credit

About UOP

The University of the Pacific (UOP) is California’s oldest private chartered university — established in 1851— and is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

The credits offered are post-baccalaureate, graded, graduate-level semester credits, provided directly through the University of the Pacific, University College. They are specifically designed to meet the needs of educators for salary advancement & re-certification. These professional development courses are for participants who are not pursuing an advanced degree at University of the Pacific. The credits are acceptable where local districts approve them and applicable to state licensing where authorized. Other professions should check with their employer for acceptability.  All participants are responsible to determine acceptability of these credits for their intended use.

How to Register for Credit with an Online Course

To register for credit, simply download, complete and email the UOP registration form to Yoga Calm (the forms are located in your online course materials). You may use a credit card or check to pay the fee of $62/credit. After you have completed your coursework, Yoga Calm will submit your grade to UOP for processing, which will then take between two to four weeks (sometimes longer during the summer, their busiest season). When the grading process is completed, you will receive your unofficial transcript in the mail. If you need an official transcript, you may order one at any time, and it will be sent to you after your grade has been processed.

How to Register for Credit with an In-Person Course

Complete a UOP registration form when you check in at your course. You can use a credit card or check to pay for the UOP fee of $62/credit. You will receive an email confirmation from Yoga Calm when your grade has been submitted, at which point you may request an official transcript from UOP.
